S1 EP 6: Our First Interview: Sharon Stephens

When I decided I want to learn how to do a remote interview, I of course asked my mother to be my practice guest to help me work out all the bugs with setup and equipment. I think we did a pretty good job.

If you read my Into the West Saga Serial books you will certainly recognize the name Sharon Stephens.  I use my mother's name for the name of my fictional western town, Sharon Springs, and for the town's matriarch, for whom the town was named.  Unlike the other character's who I have named after family and friends, this character is actually modeled after my mother. I get a chance to ask her what it's like to see so much of herself in my books as well talk about some writing projects she has been creating lately.
