Hello Happy People,
Today Dianne is thrilled to bring you another wonderful historical fiction author. Being one herself, Dianne loves to find other historical fiction authors who really take historical accuracy and research seriously. Today's guest is most definitely one of those authors.
Barb Warner Deane is an award-winning author and a public speaker. She has given numerous presentations on the role of American women in World War II. She is credited with having spoken at more than 130 libraries, historical societies, book clubs, and women's groups in six states. She has even spoken at the National Conference of the Historical Writers of American in Williamsburg, VA among many other writer's and veteran gatherings.
Barb attended Cornell University and the University Of Connecticut, School of Law. While she has lived in the Chicago area for the past thirty years, she grew up in the Finger Lakes area of New York and many years later spent two years living in Frankfurt, Germany and two years in Shanghai, China.
When Barb decided to leave her law career she chose to become a business owner and established Barb's All Romance Book Store. Being a shopkeeper wasn't Barb's only new career she explored. Over the years, Barb has worked as a substitute teacher and worked in the tech and media for two schools. She has been published as a travel writer and is currently enjoying her "retirement" as a full-time writer interspersed with volunteer work and plenty of travel.
