Hello Happy People,

In today's episode, Dianne is thrilled to bring you her chat with the incredible USA Today and Amazon bestselling author, Jacqueline Friedland. Jacqueline has published numerous books including He Gets That From Me, Trouble the Water, and her most recent release, Counting Backwards

Jacqueline began her professional career after graduating Magna Cum Laude from both the University of Pennsylvania and NYU Law School. She practiced as a commercial litigator in New York for a time, but knew the law was not the future she wanted. Jacqueline had dreams of being a writer. She tried combining her education and personal passion and began teaching Legal Writing and Lawyering Skills in Manhattan while working on her first book whenever she could find spare time.

When Jacqueline finally deciding to pursue a full time writing career, she returned to school and earned a Masters of Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. She has since published several books and became a USA Today Bestselling author, all while raising a family.

Jacqueline currently lives in New York with her husband, four children, and two dogs. When not writing, she loves to read, exercise, watch movies with her family, and dreams about exotic vacations.

From her Amazon listing for Counting Backwards, "A routine immigration case, a shocking legacy. Jessa Gidney's quest for justice draws her into the heart of an abhorrent conspiracy. As she uncovers her personal ties to a heartbreaking past, her life takes a dramatic turn, in this emotionally riveting novel inspired by true events."
