Hello Happy People,
Today we have a rare return guest author. Her first guest appearance on Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt–Book Talk Podcast was in season 2 episode #59. Be sure to check out her first interview to learn about Linaya's background and her first book in The Forever After Duology.
Linaya didn’t intend to become a writer—it was just something that seemed to develop naturally somewhere between writing her first novel in a sixth-grade notebook and publishing her debut novel, Lithaflora the Chrysalis.
Linaya now fills her days happily brewing science fiction and fantasy stories with a splash of romance. She finds the process to be much like brewing the perfect cup of tea, another skill she has worked to master.
If you enjoy stories that take conventional ideas and bend the realities in new and unexpected ways, with complex characters that have more dimensions than quantum field theory equations, you will love Aquacosmic Eclosion. Linaya advises her followers to note that reading her work could come with side effects including sudden bouts of wonder, unexpected sobbing, and the irresistible urge to believe in the impossible. As discussed in this episode, Linaya feels her writing is about exploring the endless possibilities of imagination. When asked if she can pick between magic and science—her answer is a definitive, I need both.
Linaya recently bought a house in Northern California with her fiancé. Her work days are filled with home renovations, wedding planning, brewing new ideas to enrich her current work in progress, and wrangling her two dogs and a cat when time permits. She credits her partner for wisely staying out of the fray.
