BIO: Dianne Burckhardt is a podcaster and award-winning designer and author (writing as Stephen Burckhardt). Her historical fiction series, The Into the West Saga Serial is complete and she is currently writing her medical memoir Free Bad Haircut With Each Craniotomy. Dianne is an American from Wichita, Kansas, but currently resides in Germany with her Chilean husband, and their Russian rescue dog, Shaggy. She is also a proud bonus mom to twin adult daughters in Chile.

Today on Book banter with Dianne Burckhardt, Dianne is joined by the incredibly talented, Donna Edman. Donna is a professional photographer and visual storyteller working out of Fullerton, California. She shares how she started out her career in the corporate world and didn't find photography until later in life. The career she built as a photographer has brought great reviews from her clients as she helped them create more than just photo albums but legacies for generations to enjoy and cherish.
Donna's current project has grown beyond just a book, but is now also a museum exhibit. Women of Wisdom showcases the images and wisdom of 49 women between the ages of 50 and 95. Her mission with this project was to honor the beauty and wisdom of mature, everyday women. Each woman featured shares a bit of their own personal story as well as the advice they would give their 20-year-old selves.

An aura of contentment can be elicited by a sweet thought of a child. A bold gaze can be conjured by sharing a vision for the future. Some people like to talk.
