BIO: Dianne Burckhardt is a podcaster and award-winning designer and author (writing as Stephen Burckhardt). Her historical fiction series, The Into the West Saga Serial is complete and she is currently writing her medical memoir Free Bad Haircut With Each Craniotomy. Dianne is an American from Wichita, Kansas, but currently resides in Germany with her Chilean husband, and their Russian rescue dog, Shaggy. She is also a proud bonus mom to twin adult daughters in Chile.

Hello Happy People,
Today Dianne is joined by inspirational author Wendy Jo Cerna. Wendy Jo grew up in Minnesota, the daughter of educators. She fondly remembers family trips with her brothers in the back seat of the family station wagon as one source of her creativity.
Wendy Jo discovered a love of theater in high-school and followed her passion through college. After graduating with a degree in Theater Arts from the University of Washington, Wendy Jo married her college sweetheart. The couple settled in the Seattle area and built their family there.
It wasn't until 2015 when Wendy Jo felt a divine calling to become a writer and share stories she felt needed to be told. With her children grown and other responsibilities needing less of her daily attention, Wendy Jo felt the time was right to follow her heart and begin her writing career.
