BIO: Dianne Burckhardt is a podcaster and award-winning designer and author (writing as Stephen Burckhardt). Her historical fiction series, The Into the West Saga Serial is complete and she is currently writing her medical memoir Free Bad Haircut With Each Craniotomy. Dianne is an American from Wichita, Kansas, but currently resides in Germany with her Chilean husband, and their Russian rescue dog, Shaggy. She is also a proud bonus mom to twin adult daughters in Chile.

Welcome to our holiday hiatus episodes between our regular podcast seasons. Normally we play "The Best of" shows from the season that is ending, but this year we are bringing you interviews we recorded live at the Frankfurter Buchmesse in Frankfurt, Germany. This Buchmesse is the world's largest publishing convention and with these interviews we barely scratched the surface of the incredible vendors attending this conference.
In today's show you will hear Dianne Burckhardt conducting an interview on the convention floor with author Kasey Rogers and then Dianne and Pedro share their parting observations of their first visit to the Frankfurter Buchemesse.
Kasey Rogers, Author and Domestic Abuse Prevention Activist
Kasey spent much of her earlier career working in the commercial film industry in New York City by day and writing a musical in between film projects. After the birth of her twins, she switched gears to follow another passion, cooking. That passion led her and her late husband to turn a vacation property in Alexandria, Ontario, into a restaurant.
